經(jīng)濟(jì)報刊文章中限制性定語從句的譯法

英文經(jīng)濟(jì)報刊文章中經(jīng)常遇到限制性定語從句。限制性定語從句的譯法：如果限制性定語從句太長，或?qū)λ�修飾的詞不起太多的限制作用，而是對其作些解釋，或說明原因、結(jié)果等情況時，從句不必提前合譯，可采用分譯法，譯成小句。必要時，可在句前加上某些詞語來表示轉(zhuǎn)折、目的、結(jié)果、原因、讓步、條件或時間。 

1. The organization for Economic Cooperation and Development warned on Friday that despite recent trends pointing toward a recovery, global financial markets face numerous risks that could dent investor optimism.

經(jīng)濟(jì)合作與發(fā)展組織星期五警告說，盡管近來經(jīng)濟(jì)趨向復(fù)蘇，但全球金融市場面臨著許多風(fēng)險，可能會挫傷投資者的積極性。

Notes:

①限制性定語從句that could dent investor optimism 譯成小句，譯時可省譯關(guān)系代詞that的譯詞。

2. And with demand for stocks so hot, many investors have taken up the same kind of day trading that led some Americans during the dot-com boom to quit their jobs and trade stocks full time.
